So, who am I?

I’m Caroline. I’m 52, young at heart, a little bit bonkers, occasionally ditzy and clumsy, and I bloody love what I do.

I’ve always had a knack for reading people. If you need quiet, I’ll probably know. If you’re nervous and need to talk absolute rubbish for an hour, I can do that too.

I care about people. And I think that matters when you’re choosing the person who’s going to be right there with you on one of the biggest mornings of your life.

I want you to feel comfortable in my chair. I want you to feel listened to. I want you to be able to tell me if something doesn’t feel like you without worrying about offending me.

And yes, obviously I want your hair and makeup to look bloody gorgeous.

But I want you to feel bloody gorgeous too. There’s a difference.

Why trust me with your face?

I’ve been a makeup artist for 10 years, with 6 of those spent working in TV, film and commercial.

That means I’ve painted a LOT of faces. Different ages, skin types, skin tones and features. I’ve worked under bright lights, in front of cameras, to tight timings and in situations where plans can change at the drop of a hat.

It taught me to think on my feet, stay calm and find a solution rather than flap when something doesn’t quite go to plan.

But probably the biggest thing it taught me is that makeup isn’t one-size-fits-all.

I don’t want to give you my version of a bride. I want to work with the face sitting in front of me — your skin, your features, your personality and the things that make you look like you.

Because looking beautiful is lovely.

Looking in the mirror and still recognising yourself? Even better.

But can I trust her with my face?

10 years as a makeup artist.

6 years in TV, film & commercial.

A LOT of faces.

Different ages, skin types, features, cameras, lights, tight timings and last-minute changes.

It takes quite a lot to flap me.

I don’t do one-size-fits-all bridal

I don’t want to give you my version of a bride.

I want you to look in the mirror and see you — just feeling really bloody gorgeous.

Now you know me… let me show you what being one of my brides actually feels like.
